Help with a creative gift for mom?

My mom is going to be travelling by car for about 2 weeks this holiday season. She is going to go visit relatives from all over the country. So my idea for her gift, is to buy things that will make her trip better.
My idea thus far –
I plan to make a gift basket that includes a lot of gourmet chocolate, and I plan to buy her a nice portable DVD player. Anything else I can add to this basket that fits the travelling theme? Thanks.

okay, so on the list i have: Costa Rican, Colombian Supremo, Colom. Decaf, Gourmet Kona Blend, Italian Roast, Supreme French Dark Roast for Vietnamese, House Blend, Swiss Chocolate, Vanilla Nut, and Cinnamon Hazelnut. these are all different types of coffee. i do drink coffee, but once in a week only, hence i have no idea how these coffees above taste like. can someone give me advices which one is the best? or taste really good? i’m thinking about buying them for my dad as a gift (certainly not for any special occasion), and to help out my school’s fund-raising as well.
personally, the Swiss Chocolate, Vanilla Nut, and Cinnamon Hazelnut sound promising. lol, based on the name. well, again, I never tried those types of coffee i have listed. so yeah ~
one more thing, should i buy 12 oz BEAN or 12 oz GROUND? they only sale 12 oz bags.

BEAN or GROUND, which one is worth the money? either 12 oz of bean type or ground type is the same prize, 8 bucks. thanks, kraeshaew. that sure helps me a lot!
btw, if coffee is that noxious, why would i buy it for my dad, Gus D?
uh…i just read through couple info on google. people advice to buy ground coffee because if you grind it yourself, it’ll have an impact on the taste. and i’m looking for quality of the coffee for my dad, not the quantity.
one last thing, how long can the coffee be stored?

Inexpensive presents for daycare providers?

Between my two daughters, there are 6-8 (depending on how wide I cast the net) daycare providers that I would like to give gifts to before my girls move up to their next classes next week. But, I do not have much money to spend. Does anyone have any ideas for inexpensive gifts that the teacher’s might actually use (i.e. no apple paperweights that say Best Teacher on them)? I am thinking like, maybe a gourmet soup mix with crackers or something?

So I’m looking into making gourmet popcorn as gifts this Christmas.
Like the boy scouts sell.
My boyfriend went crazy this summer and for some reason bought 50lbs of popcorn kernels.
Any ideas?
I’ve found some online, but you can never we sure how good they are and few have storage and serving suggestions.

Adult Halloween Pinata Stuffers? ?

Im making a pinata for an adult Halloween party. The only halloween pinatas I could find are huge. Here’s what I have so far (condoms, flavored lubes, single shot alcohol bottles, naughty gum balls, scratch tickets, energy packs, gift certificates, gourmet chocolates, car air freshners, gourmet esspresso beans, packs of gum and dollar bills,) but Im looking for some more creative unisex adult stuffers.
Thought about putting cigarettes in it since most of our friends smoke but I dont want to put full packs being as though they are 5 bucks a pack so can anyone thing of a cute way of packaging three together? I dunno… I just need lots of ideas LOL.

I’m thinking about starting a gourmet gift basket business with like salsas, spreads, guacamole, and jellies.So I was wandering if I were to build a website where should I go to do that? Also what do I need to do to get started? Does anybody see this type of business as having some potential and how should I market? Does anybody think that conducting a survey about this type of business would be a good idea. Please give me some pointers.

I thought Id do a bag instead of basket,
On an eco bag, that they can reuse. With the logo of the company
Gourmet goodies inside, maybe with the logo frosted onto the glass jars
Nice scented candles, with the logo somehow put onto the candle (any ideas how?)
And any other ideas for what to put in it?
Theres no budget, but obviously not something super expensive. And suitable for anyone…young or old, male or female etc.
