Gift for discriminating couple?

My friends are Russian (her), Canadian (him). She is about to have their 2nd baby. They have expensive taste….and like wine, sushi gourmet foods. They recently moved to Calif. so I will have to ship their gift (or have it shipped) so I don’t want it to be too perishable and some wine places I have checked don’t ship to certain states. So……..what I would really like is an idea that is off the hook. They are both crazy like to party too – something REALLY unique. No gift cards or things that are impersonal as they are my best friends. Thanks for your suggestions!!
